Itinerary

Day 1 – Sunrise Jeep Adventure & Black Lava – Black Sands Exploration

02:30 – Hotel pick-up: Early morning pick-up from your hotel (time may vary slightly based on location). Sit back and relax in the car as you head up to the cool highlands of Kintamani, about 2 hours from the Ngurah Rai Airport area.
04:30 – Arrive at Kintamani meeting point: Reach the base point in Kintamani and meet your friendly jeep driver-guide. Take a short break, use the restroom if needed, and get ready for the sunrise ride.
05:15 – Jeep ride to sunrise point: Start your 4×4 jeep adventure heading up to the sunrise viewpoint near Mount Batur. Enjoy the fresh mountain air and the feeling of driving through the dark volcanic landscape as the sky slowly brightens.
05:30–07:00 – Sunrise, breakfast & hot coffee: Arrive at the sunrise point and find a comfortable spot to watch the first light of the day. Take in panoramic views of Mount Batur, Lake Batur, and the surrounding hills while enjoying a simple breakfast and hot coffee.

Please be ready at your hotel lobby at the confirmed pick-up time; we cannot be held responsible if you miss the sunrise due to late readiness. The distance from Ngurah Rai International Airport area to Kintamani is about 2 hours, and actual pick-up time may vary slightly depending on your hotel location. The tour requires a minimum of 2 participants. Wear comfortable clothes and closed shoes, and bring a light jacket or sweater as the morning in Kintamani can be quite cold. We also recommend bringing sunscreen, some cash for personal expenses, and a camera or smartphone for photos. This is a jeep-based tour; no trekking is required, but the ride can be bumpy over lava and sand, so it may not be suitable for guests with severe back problems or certain medical conditions.
